We regret to announce that we are cancelling our next aquathlon which was due to take place on Sunday 21st March.
Everyone who has already entered will be hearing from us shortly.
Our next race will hopefully be scheduled for early November. A further announcement will be made once details have been finalised. Hopefully we will see you all there!


Burntwood Aquathlon is held twice each year in the autumn and spring. Each race consists of a pool swim followed by a run either on pavements or the playing fields around the Centre (routes can be seen below).

There are classes for all ages from 8 years upwards – the distances for each age group are given below. The race is suitable for everyone from complete novices to world-class athletes!

Until 31st Jan 2021: Adults – £20 (£16 BTF members); 16 & under on 31st Dec 2021 – £10 (£9 BTF members)

From 1st to 28th Feb 2021: Adults – £22 (£18 BTF); 16 or under on 31st Dec 2021 – £12 (£11 BTF)

From 1st to 18th March 2021: Adults – £24 (£20 BTF); 16 or under on 31st Dec 2021 – £14 (£13 BTF)

On the day entry (only if places available): Adult – £30 (£26 BTF); 16 or under on 31st Dec 2021 – £15 (£14 BTF)

BTF members must produce a valid race licence at registration


Start times will be emailed to all entrants and posted here in the week before the race. A provisional list will be posted on Thursday after postal entries close; the final list will be posted on Saturday after online entries shut.


More than 2 weeks before race – 100% refund or transfer of entry to next race

1-2 weeks before race – 50% refund or transfer of entry to next race

Less than 1 week before race – no refund – transfer to next race only
